Great band, but just a good album, nothing exceptional here. "Storm The Sorrow" is just way better than the rest of the songs

A pretty good album, although not quite as ambitious or indeed consistent as the band's predecessor. The stronger tracks here are evidently the more experimental ones, and even if they are predictable, they are still solid enough to prevent this album from being a complete disappointment.

Srsly, I still can't believe how unbalanced this album is. So much win and yet so much shit in it.

Storm the Sorrow and Delirium are awesome. First two songs I've heard from this band that's all I heard so far too.

Try to hear avalanche and requiem of the indiferent. Both tracks are avesome. If you don't have any sort of problem with long track you shoul check the serenade of self-destruction.

As long as they're good time matters not.

Still need to go give their other works a go.

I'm more fan of their 2 newest albums. Of course divine conspirace and consign to oblivion have a lot of good moments.

It's good. As others have said, it's inconsistent.

Storm the sorrow is holopainen type goodness songwriting wise

Interesting? It's like when the songs break out in the Disney movies. Teeters on the edge of that which I can't take seriously, while seducing with intrigue.

This album is very underrated because of two reasons, the bad mixing and the majority of Epica fans not being able to understand anything that is not 4/4

Can agree with every word.

Need more listens but I doubt this will be my favorite of these lads (and lass).

A few unique moments and the standouts are really good, but overall it's in the lower tier of their discography.
