5* Overkill would be Horrorscope and Ironbound for me :D Other REALLY good thrash would be bands like Heathen, or check out Demolition Hammer....

Another twin peak (Ironbound & The Electric Age) after Years Of Decay & Horrorscope

I wonder if they can make it a hattrick in 2014-2015?

I like the twin peak analogy... I still think that each drummer has had a stand out record. Skates with Feel the Fire, Falk with HorrorScope. Mallare is harder to pinpoint as 90's/00 Overkill is a tricky area. For me it's W.F.O. Lipniki has done 3 so far. 1 (somewhat) dud and 2 great ones.

I love that line in Old Wounds, New Scars "Got a lot of mouth for a Jersey white boy!" but goddamn this album is a monster, first listen through I was disappointed didn't seem even close to Ironbound, but after more listens I can say it's almost as good

Bought the special edition this week. Album rules hard.

One of their best albums to date.

Overkill found a sound they are happy with in "Ironbound" and are sticking to it here. The band proves with this release that the old-school is still very much alive. However they bring nothing new to the table, instead they stick to their guns and thrash hard as fuck. Sure to be included in may people's 2012 best-of lists. 3.5/5

3 months and this still has constant play for me (along with PA by Kreator). Can't wait for new Testament to hit!

I agree on your hand picked tracks, except for "Wish you were dead". That one I actually found kinda lacking. Personally, I think the opener is the strongest track.
