listened to this last night, pretty badass. the first few songs were cool, but didn't blow me away like I expected, but then Madness of an Architect came on and I was like "there it is."

Nothing tepid about Snakes. It averages excellent here, was on millions of Top Lists, got great reviews when released.

The title track off Snakes was indeed awesome, but in being so great, it also completely overshadowed the rest of that album. I still liked the whole thing though, just not as much as the two that came before it. Blessed Black Wings is my favorite from these guys, but the high ratings for this make me happy and I hope I'll enjoy this as much as Adam, for example, does. If this really does beat BBW, I'll be one happy, happy man.
