Jens is a superb fit for them. And he writes some songs too. Didn't he write Behind The Sun?

Jens is an angry robot in his delivery and we love him for it [2]

Yep

I hate to say this, but Thordendal is an atrocious writer in this album, I can't stand the title track and the second song, which are written by him, although the title track says that it was co-written with Hagstrom

Breaking my heart Rod. The first track is admittedly kinda boring but the rest of this is a bulldozer.

Meshuggah is at their best when they slow things down and bring the groove into overdrive.

I'm not saying the album is bad, just thos 2 songs, but I find the rest of the album amazing, especially behind the sun, the hurt that finds you first and break those bones...oh and marrow

Yeah man, totally agree. He is such a good vocalist. So consistent and his sense of timing ups the groove another notch.

Favourite Jens-moment must be the Closed Eye Visuals section: ''A twirling visual overload, explosions of terror and beauty, colours of pain and fear within, clash into unanything''.

@Ben Because he comes off completely monotone until you get sucked in and get it.

overrated band but they have some good work. I hate how basically every new mainstream core band under the sun wants to be them though.

Check out The Handshake Murders - Usurper. Most blatant meshuggah ripoff I've encountered
