Omg yes that's awesome. Currently shuffling through my best mix list ever (which is just the whole discogs of Monolake, DJ Krush and Ihsahn, it works so incredibly well despite how weird it might sound) so we won't be alone in bumping this thread!
I'll think about other cool techno you would like for when the Monolake adventure is concluded.

Actually, makes a lot of sense! I tend to lump atmospheric music together, so I don't find it weird to listen to a combo of post-metal, black metal, and ambient techno. At least it does make perfect sense in my head.

Hahaha I was already wondering what was going on. Had exactly the same experience last week, so can absolutely relate.
And yes it makes sense from a feelings-point of view, totally. And that's what matters in the end. (Those last four words are usually combined in a different way to much greater effect...)

I think it was Minilogue Johnny. From Sweden. They have released two double LPs that are absolutely to die for, in my opinion at least. Animals and Blomma.
