I feel like people are slower to get triggered on sputnik than on larger sites. It's nice

Also because it's pretty expected to be a total shit. Every page of every Periphery thread has some asshole who maybe heard one of their albums once saying something along the lines of "Band suxx singer gayyy quitting when". I mean, sure, freedom of opinion and whatnot but it's annoying. The upside is that you don't get notifications, unlike facebook.

Haha. On this site you can say something that you know will trigger everyone, and then just ignore your discussions tab

"Say it with me:

Ocean Machine, City, Terria >>>>> Epicloud, Z2, Transcendence

Should be an oath you have to take before joining this group smh. Where my old schoolers at???"

Literally no one would bat an eyelid at that here, am I too deep down the sputhole if I can't see what's offensive about that?

Fandoms just get easily offended, especially when you have a site circle jerking one artist.

It's not offensive, it's just unnecessarily douchebaggy. Why would you just randomly drop in and say "old Devy bettuurrrrr new Devy suxxxxx!!!1!!"?

Epicloud is borderline bad, Z2 is forgettable. Ocean Machine is definitely a far better album.

Hahaha my favorites of Devy are Deconstruction and Ghost, so I guess I fall in that in between gray area. I somehow never listened to old Devy much, about time to start with that.

Yeah I have a lot of that. There are some albums (from artists I love) that I never get around to playing. I'm just too familiar with their older material I guess, so I want to keep playing those haha.

I have also never REALLY listened to Opeth's Still Life, BTBAM's Alaska, The Ocean's Precambrian, Dimmu's Enthrone Darkness Triumphant. The list goes on. Shame on me, I know.

You always have time to jam some classics, even if you think you don't
