You understand why it cuts my dick off?

How did we get here exactly?
|
| |
Haha! Brilliant. Ah bless Island's heart, he means well. =P
I really dig Some Nights though. Not sure why. It's such a huge change from Aim & ignite and yet I
still love the sounds.
But, if I'm being serious; if they stick with this sound I reckon their next album will be a more
perfected version of this. I still love it but I feel like they're testing waters.

Every time I hear this I like it more. Really didn't think I would be able to stomach the hip hop influence.
|
| |
do i really mean well?
|
| |
Neither did I. I guess I have Kanye West to thank for liking this really.
Every time I pull myself away and try to think of something I dislike about it; I end up singing lines
from the album instead. =P
Besides, I can't really think of anything similar to Hip-Queen-Hop... which is a new genre I've just
invented specially for this album.
You mean all the well Island. =)
You're keeping the balance.

Not at all Keelan haha! I was scared people would think that. I think I made clear around here that Aim And Ignite was massively personal to me in a way that even Dog Problems hadn't been, and, actually, this is shaping up the same way - but this is actually a 4.

Really need to get my hands on this and give it a good away-from-the-computer listen. Also, title track is amazing.

I just have such a soft spot for incredible pop that does unique, interesting things. I cannot find anything I don't like about this album.
|
| |
I'm the same. There's something about pop that when it's done right; I can't help but adore it.
Sure, it's not subtle and it's in your face but all in a good way. It's just hard not to get pumped! =D

They're playing at my school tonight, in 2 hours. I can't wait.

Lucky freak. My borderline worshipful review should be up in the middle of the night or tomorrow morn.

honestly some of these songs are fucking terrible. There's some good stuff here though
|
| |
is this as sugary as Aim and Ignite or more?
kind of on the fence and i'm never in a mood ridiculous enough to listen to fun. anymore.

So they just performed tonight at the University of Mary Washington and they were amazing. No one at my school ever gives a shit about anything. There's no school spirit, no major events or anything really, but tonight everyone lost it. fun. has a huge presence.

The vocoder use in Stars makes the song for me. Love it.

balcaen it's different. It's not as sugary, I wouldn't say, but there's still a guilty-pleasure factor there. But who cares when the bass is this awesome.

I'm oddly curious as to what Atavan would think of this album.
|
| |
I still think; even with the sound change that Nate Ruess is my favourite pop song-writer around.
Can't think of anyone I prefer.
|
| |
Hahaha... =P
Yeah, I think it's fun. =) Fills your brain with all these catchy hooks that won't get out!
