For sure. LotR is genius, and I have a soft spot for the Williams scores in the early Harry Potter films. Combine all of these and Twin Peaks, and it's absolutely top tier.

Twin Peaks that’s true. X-Files theme is classic as well. Yeah those HP soundtracks would give me major nostalgia I’m sure if I listened isolated from the films. The last two Elder Scrolls soundtracks and maybe The Last of Us too.

You need to give this a 5.0! This the perfect music to listen to while playing Cloudpunk by the way:

Recently I've been on a ᑐ ᑌ ᑎ ᕮ marathon. I'm all for nostalgia, but I like a lot of new stuff too.

Never heard of Cloud Punk, looks neat.
By Dune you mean the soundtrack?
This would be a 5 for the first 2/3 of the album and Tears in Rain, and not counting the ‘50s love song, if the audio from the movies and Deckard’s narrations were taken out.

Difficult pick. There are so many soundtracks that I love, specially if we're also counting video games
But this one is certainly up there and a classic on its own

The dialogue really adds to the atmosphere imo

True, but sometimes I just want to listen and get lost in the music. I’m glad there’s multiple discs of bonus tracks.

Whoa there, completely disagree the spoken passages from the movie make it so much better.....the lead in dialogue when he's analazing the photo to the lead in of the harp.....holy shit!

Harrison's bored monotone voice isn't really what I want to hear alongside the beautiful synth score, especially the narrating parts which he wasn't inspired to do and they wisely cut out of the re-released final cut.

I've always liked the spoken-word ambience in this... but I usually skip 'One more kiss, dear'.
"By Dune you mean the soundtrack?"
Yes! it is on-par with 'Blade Runner 2049' in my book. One of Zimmers' finest work. Actually I think I enjoy the soundscapes and score the most in that movie. In addition to the cinematography of course.

Just gave the "orchestral adaption"-version of the score a listen for the first time... not as bad as I thought it would be, it's just more of a jazz album. 'End Title - Reprise ' is pretty horrible though.
