shit I was listening this last night. It's a masterpiece of soundtracks
|
| |
always thought he was italian, i guess technically he is, by heritage. but from brooklyn lol. those old italian composers were really something else and he was as good as any of them. i was obsessed with that stuff for some time (especially Rizz Ortolani-very underrated) definitely recommend going down that rabbit hole.
|
| |
btw i didnt watch the rebirth of the show, can't even remember when it came out actually maybe like 2017 i wanna say? But did he do the music for that too?

Here ya are, pulled this from the Return’s wiki:
“ The season's score contains new and reused compositions by Angelo Badalamenti, dark ambient music and sound design by Dean Hurley and David Lynch (including some from The Air Is on Fire), and unreleased music from Lynch and Badalamenti's 1990s project Thought Gang, two of which previously appeared in Fire Walk with Me”

You know, Lynch himself has some seriously dark music that he's made over the years. (check the song ''Imaginary Girl" one of the most creepy songs I've heard - the vibe on that track is indescribable)

Checked out “Imaginary Girl” and, you’re right, that is a creepy song. Like Daniel Johnston got lost in the Black Lodge
