i was a little disappoined with SI at first, but i found myself coming back to the majorty of the songs. le mirror, l'ile des morts & t/t are all top tier alcest for me. protection is a lot of fun as well

they are one of my favs agreed, but I only really listen to Ecailles and Kodama these days. I don't know how they were supposed to follow up Kodama but I don't think SI was it. Voyages is my 3rd fav 'cest

I started with Souvenirs back in the day when it came out and absolutely fell in love with that sound. I hadn't heard Le Secret, and didn't even know they had a black metal vibe so when Ecailles came out I was pretty surprised. Souvenirs aged poorly for me unfortunately, but it has a lot of nostalgia for sure. It's been cool to see them grow since the beginning and hoping the have some more magic up their sleeves
