Listened to a little bit of the stream and it sucks. Also the band's name makes me think of a vagina, and I laugh to myself a little.

'Future This', the Paul Epworth produced 2nd LP from The Big Pink, sees the English duo refine their sound to focus on synth-pop & electro-rock for the masses. The feedback-drenched, multi-layered wall of sound of their debut is all but gone, even if the outfit's knack for an incessant melody thankfully remains. While it may well be more consistent & accessible than its divisive predecessor, 'Future This' is ultimately a little too chorus reliant for its own good... Resulting in a lack of depth, diversity & lasting value. It's catchiness, however, suffices for an instant sugar rush. Recommended Tracks: Hit the Ground (Superman), Stay Gold & Lose Your Mind.
