"This reminds me of fucking Disneyland at times lmao"

Hilarious. I get it though as I can't listen to this style of proggy PM much anymore the way I could in my late teens and early 20's. Can still appreciate it in small doses though. I always felt like Angra at their best were just true professionals. Very talented and classy, cheese aside.

I'm obviously not as much in the mood for this kind of stuff as I am for some of the more extreme metal subgenres, but this is obviously quality stuff. The guitar leads on this won me over

Well said, man. As far as I'm concerned this is probably the pinnacle of this type of PM. Loureiro and Bittencourt are just an incredible tandem on here as well. Gonna go jam "The Shadow Hunter" for old times' sake. m/

Kiko and Rafael are guitar gods. Everyday I wish I could be as good as them.

Guitar work is outstanding but man these vox just gets too much at times (like 90% of PM)

I just realized some sections of the Morning Star solo would make for excellent picking exercises even if played at a fraction of the speed and building up
