but like la quiete, saetia, fall of boss, indian summer and jffb being better than this is just a funny concept to me. this album is paced brilliantly, the vocals are excellent, the production is perfect, all the songs stick out, it starts on an epic note (fly by night), ends with a monstrous, crooning closer (diamond tooth), has a fair share of guttural, short, punky/powerviolence sounding songs (torn port, repro), thrashy hardcore songs (trilo 4, trilo 5) a sonically huge and progressively dissonant masterpiece (trilogy 6) and a lot of replay value for me. I love the whole record

also you failed to even acknowledge we are carnivores so you failed the mission

indian summer is so much better than this like its honestly unfair. la quiete has at least 3 songs in their discography which are better than anything loma prieta has done. saetia isnt a band i listen to much anymore but their influence is undeniable. fall of boss is just better at the whole creating epic songs thing. your dislike for jffb makes me sick kiddo

saetia is incredibly influential, wasn't denying their influence but the restrospective thingy isn't all that great, at all. off minor is way better and their music has a lot more character



fall of boss koala doesn't write anything really epic, their pretty standard and ok for the post-rock/skramz hybrid
