Love this album! The reviewer said “Turn The Page” started with two-hand tapping. That’s incorrect. He’s using three fingers on his right hand to pluck strings: I and M to pluck the highest two notes in unison, and T for the bass note. I play this intro all the time because it sounds super-impressive yet it’s quite easy. The hard part is the verses. And then Geddy SINGS while playing that crazy-ass bass line.

Open Secrets, Tai Shan and High Water are bin worthy. The rest range from good to bangers so slightly underrated overall I think but definitely a downgrade from Power Windows.

It took me like...9 listens but I really like Tai Shan now. Some of Geddy's best vocal melodies, and it's so different to every song on this album (or their career). Time Stand Still and all tracks from Prime Mover to Tai Shan slap so hard.
