Baishou Ecstasy is also great (shame about the short length of the album itself though)

This is excellent, but (yeah, there's a but):
- I don't always enjoy her vocals 100% of the time.
- some songs drift too close to carnival/circus music in places for my personal taste.
So thinking the 4 ceiling shall remain.
Good album though, more one that impresses me than a case of 'love at first listen' though

Not as good as Shouso tbh

Better imo, partly because it's even more unique and creative. It does suffer a bit under the "let's see how much shit we can pack in one second" though, that makes it a bit overwhelming to listen to it, but that's really all that bothers me a little. Shiina's vox in particular have grown on me so much, I wouldn't want to change a sound she makes on here.

"no we don't"
aside from the part where the "carnival" thing is completely inaccurate

Ok carnival isn't quite the word I'd use

He probably means the street organ-like sounds on Poltergeist which add to its atmosphere imo. It works in the context of the song's feeling.

It’s not something that pops up all the time, it’s just an element.

‘Consciously’ to ‘Poltergeists’ (tracks 9-10) are the ones where it becomes a bit too ‘circus music’ for me.
