not since 'use somebody' has a song been ruined as badly by the radio. hold on was one of my favourite pop songs of the year until the record store i worked at started playing it 10 times a day every day and i was hearing it in every store, bar, car, etc.

day and i was hearing it in every store, bar, car, etc.
sounds like midnight city. was one of my favourites songs of the year three years ago (back when no one knew
about it) but then made in chelsea decided to make it their theme tune, so everytime I'd play it on my hi fi
people would go "oh this is the made in chelsea song" or "no! not the made in chelsea song!"
they'd also then all assume I liked made in chelsea so I'd have to act like a total douchey hipster about it

Hold On is great. Probably one of the best 2013 jams. From Time is probably in my top 5 drake songs too. The piano lines on that album are just perfect.
