At Birth definitely displays a darker more straight forward approach from Blake. These really

And also, you all seem to be ignoring the part that says "right now". That doesn't mean that he's always been that way or that he'll continue to be that way. But within today's popular music scene, well prove me wrong.....

i don't see a lot of mystery, although they say mystery is in the eye of the beholder...
I see a man who has a blast experimenting with music. A mad sound scientist without clearly
articulated goals, who doesn't really dig in lyrically or emotionally yet. Not some shrouded oracle.
Not that I think he lacks emotionally or any way, but I guess over time his focus could shift and his
package alter a little.
