Curbside reminds me of Quasimoto's The Unseen because of the same horn sample

Amazing review, Deviant.

I really like this, actually. I seem to like each of his releases more and more

At Birth definitely displays a darker more straight forward approach from Blake. These really

mediocre three song EP's coming out by really good Garage artists need to stop though

shit dude, another release?

i'm kind of glad. if it weren't for enough thunder coming out this year after the S/T i'd still be talking the same kind of shit about this guy. he is literally giving me way too many chances to like him.

we'll see when i get this. he's sitting at a 3 or 3.5 overall because of the bells sketch and enough thunder so i guess i already do

Fantastic review, Mr. Dev. Sadly, is still haven't listened to Enough Thunder even though I enjoyed his eponymous album to an extent.

And yet none of them are really capable at conquering so many different styles so effortlessly and in such a short frame of time as JB

And also, you all seem to be ignoring the part that says "right now". That doesn't mean that he's always been that way or that he'll continue to be that way. But within today's popular music scene, well prove me wrong.....

i don't see a lot of mystery, although they say mystery is in the eye of the beholder...

I see a man who has a blast experimenting with music. A mad sound scientist without clearly
articulated goals, who doesn't really dig in lyrically or emotionally yet. Not some shrouded oracle.
Not that I think he lacks emotionally or any way, but I guess over time his focus could shift and his
package alter a little.
