With the exception of The Moon Is Down, their first two albums are nothing special. The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead, Place, however, is one of the best albums ever recorded.

Oh, sorry, I guess I was wrong. Can I have your email address please, just in case I need to contact you in future to check what my favourite albums are. Wouldn't want to make an arse of myself.

I like the review. Especially the part about how so many bands have been doing the same thing album after album and no one will say anything depending on the popularity and fanbase of the band. Eits are one of the first bands people think of when they think of post-rock. Most bands become stagnant after they've been around for a while. ISIS did with "In the Absence of Truth" and "Wavering Radiant" was better but still lacked their oldschool vibe. At this point, the band doesn't need to do shit other than appeal to their already established fans. Either way you look at it, they will always have fans. So what if they are not progressing, that hasn't stopped people from buying or listening to their music before. I'm not saying that's how bands should think, I'm saying that's how some bands who have been around for a while think (unless that band happens to be Morbid Angel; in which case, you should send them a letter telling them to stop it)

As the year winds down the mods always feature reviews of older albums to build anticipation for the end of year features. It just so happens that this review is recent

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, Gabe, because you have a Ren avatar and I dig that. However, you have not rated this and I'm suspicious of Drake, so I will listen to it and decide whether or not your mathematics are correct.
