I'm honestly liking this better than Beacons.

Probably listened to this around 10 times today as I studied and surfed the web. It's absolutely fantastic. Rating may go up or down depending on how well it holds up

Actually, I take my last statement back. I still find this to be excellent though.

I don't know why some dipshit keeps trying to move Loop into the comp section. It isn't one

I prefer this over his older stuff. Granted, I'm a fan of more natural and laid back music... Still, I think it's fantastic.

Not better than beacons. Solid though.
Crazy that it's #1 on sputnik popularity. Not to throw shade but it isn't THAT good.

I'm really, really digging this at the moment. I don't at all mind the mellower atmosphere of the record, and I especially like the format of the album, in that there are the obvious centrepieces, with little 1 minute or so acoustic pieces between them. It flows so damn well, and I can listen to the whole thing through easily - 26 minutes is the perfect length for this kind of music.

You and yours is amazing. Everything else on the album just lacks the same cloudkicker vibe.

it's funny I find it does still have that droning cloudkicker vibe. if be same cloudkicker vibe you mean the heaviness than I get that, but his sound is still the same. as far as I can tell, I know jack about guitar

most of you probably haven't heard his work as b.m. sharp, I highly recommend picking it up. it's very post-rockish and that's where I think he got most of his influences from.
