Disagree with the reviewer. To me ...But Seriously (1989) is Phil's best solo album, released in late 1989, it somehow also has a melancholic feeling in some songs, also a good idea to use many musicians for that album, fitting for 1989 different from his earlier albums.
I like to listen to But Seriously in november and december.

Actually, the band was fucked up from the moment Tony Banks said "fuck it, no more epics in this band for the rest of our career." Even when he had some succesful attempts (Me and Sarah Jane) most of them were atrocious (the 2 songs on we can't dance)
