Not really sure what everything else thinks about it, but I think "Millenium of the Blind" is one of the better tracks on the album. Certainly my favorite one.

honestly I don't hear any hardcore punk elements in megadeth's music bro
Having "punk" vocals doesn't really make you have punk "elements," either, so I don't really think that many metalcore bands actually have much hardcore influences to begin with.

worst megadeth?

Ok so this wasn't even on the "Popular Albums" chart and then it magically jumped to number 1 metal album. What.

Originally had this at a 4 because I love Megadeth and this album is pretty good but lowered to 3.5
because besides the great tracks on here eg. Sudden Death, the mediocre tracks are just kinda dumb.
Album wore off a lil.

Not their best ,but is a pretty good effort and is a lot better than "lulu" . The problem with this album that it sounds a 2.0 version of Countdown To Extinction

Except it doesn't. More like crap falling out of the Fonz's pants as he jumped the shark 2.0.

Dave needs to shoot up heroin again, it is a Risk worth taking to stop making such United Abominations such as Th1rt3en. The World Needs a Hero and we all know it. Peace Sells... but no one is buying like they used to.

th1rt3en is an album that contains every element of megadeth records from killing is my business to recent endgame. I strongly think this is the best record yet for dave and megadeth, a lot of people were just expecting an ENDGAME part 2 or something, but if it was i then would not be impressed at all, endgame is a killer record but thirteen is the complete package. to anyone think this is an average album, you need to see the bigger picture of the album, cause this is an amazing record coming from a band of nearly 30 years. never dead for megadeth...

I am really digging this album, and much more so than I did Endgame when it first came out as that album had to grow on me for some reason. I feel as though they actually seem like a band now than just members thrown in to record as United, System and Endgame were...

What I was trying to get at was they are developing some chemistry as a band and can feed off of each other. This is Drover's third album and Broderick's second album with the band. It's even better with Ellefson back in the band. Its nice to have some stability in the line up, which in case helps Mustaine stay focused so he doesn't have to break in a new member every album...

Riffs + solos = insta-five.
I really thought I'd like this more than I did, but it was still completely solid and did little to deter the tremendous momentum this band has had for the past few years.
