'this current gen sucks so hard I've been resorting to my older game catalogue'



Part of the reason I've played so many indie games recently. You can get some really good stuff and pay virtually nothing for them half the time.

I couldn't even finish re7 haha wasn't bad, I just got bored. Yeah, indie games seem to be the only thing keeping the industry from becoming totally stagnant. Although I admit I don't play them as much as I should. Look what happened to outlast, brilliant indie horror and it's sequel got a massive financial boost and it sucked haha

Witcher 3, bloodborne, dark souls series, overwatch, uncharted series, rocket league, dirt rally, titanfall 2, and like a thousand other triple a budget games.

Only game I've played out of that list are Uncharted (1), and Rocket League.



But I think that speaks more to my general disinterest in gaming than a decline in game quality. I can't speak to quality as much anymore since I play a lot less.



All I play these days is Stardew Valley anyways.

But for real tho, half that videogame is RE ol' time goodness and half of it is pure trash.

Nah, after the bug-mom bossfight the game loses steam and after dad the game goes absolute downhill

The final jack fight was awesome.



The boat section does indeed lose some steam but in the earlier moments aboard it's actually really fucking tense. Walking through those wet dark corridors had me pretty uneasy, and it keeps building that tension masterfully. Plus, even tho it starts to dip in quality, it's like 15% of the game

boat hardly bugged me at all, i hope they go back to a japanese story writer tho next time i feel like some of the spirit was lost. still a really amazing experience of a game

The writers are japanese and the game is written in Japanese zach, Spec Ops guy only worked as consultant in the end.

I liked the boat section but hated the mine. The first chapter up to being welcom'd is the best part of the game imo.
