i've got to say i don't care for "let's plays" in general but there's a dude who does a let's play for SH2 and he goes into detail with commentary on the story as he plays through the game and talks at length about all the metaphors and allegories within and it's pretty nice. i don't really have the desire to boot up SH2 and deal with its archaic controls on my laptop so in my case it was a nice way to re-experience the story and i definitely learned a lot pm me if you want the link to the youtube playlist kbye

SH has a really strong twitch community. AnEternalEnigma's casual runs are great, and he, Maxylobes, Bawkbasoup and Ravenheart are great speedrunners, great fun to watch.

It would but unfortunately Konami fucked up and lost the SH2/3 source codes, so unless they hire a developer to completely rebuild the game from the code the HD Collection was based on (and do it properly this time) it’ll be a dumpster fire of glitches again.



Hell of a way to treat arguably the best horror game ever created....

i don't condone Konami's actions the last decade, but that is a statement that gets thrown around quite a lot and it's a bit unfair. Apparently in those days, throwing source code out was the norm because nobody expected developers to HD this shit in the future. You could argue a collection like MGS proved it could be done right, but apparently they, and other developers, approached their respective projects differently to Hijinx Studio -- and hence their problems with Silent Hill.
