It's weird that I can't neg dev reviews anymore ;)
All jokes aside, congrats man!
I was never a big fan of the old Joker, but maybe I should give him another chance...

Joker's early shit is awesome. It makes me sad that he decided to take his sound in this really poppy direction. I'll be sticking with Guido and Rustie from now on for my purple dubstep.

well this is a bummer

I enjoyed this at first, but it's wearing off fast. Solid review as ever man.

Rustie really has nothing to do with that scene

I wanted to check this out a bit ago but couldnt find a link to it (didn't really try that hard). Probably not gonna listen, was never a huge joker fan anyways. Congrats on staff dev, you absolutely deserved it.

Well, he was never directly involved (except for the fact that he and Joker released a collaborative single.) I just think that the stuff on Glass Swords is more similar to the whole "purple" sound than most stuff on The Vision.

I'd say it's actually more out there than anything the Bristol scene has put out. Rustie falls into the experimental hip hop scene, just like Hudson Mohawke (and coincidentally they're from the same place). This still sounds like purple, it's just terribly commercial and toned down

I'd agree with that assessment for the most part. The new HudMo EP and Glass Swords are strikingly similar.

Good review as always Dev. Won't be checking this out I don't think.
I'm ashamed to admit I thought 'Tron' was awesome.

I never hated it initially or anything, I just couldn't get into it as much as his other beats
