I decided I prefer this to their last album, though none of the songs are as good as The Lay of Autumn. This is very solid throughout, don't have any major complaints besides the fact that it doesn't have any real standouts. I enjoy these clean vocals more than the ones found on Across the Dark actually...they're not as saccharine.

Great review. I think it's a blessing that Ville decided to make this album more aggressive. The riffs are tighter than they have ever been since Since the Day.
