The Wolfmother of nu-metal.
If you don't know what that means, you're not Australian.

Nope. As in unoriginal.
Nice try though.

Well, you tried to bullshit your way through, and that's more Aussie than actually knowing the answer.
So welcome to the club.

I think this album was alright. My favorite song on it is "Closure" but the cd is alright.
I loved this release at the time I got it (which was about age 10-11 or so).

Even today, there's still a few good, catchy songs on here. It's nothing mindblowing at all, but it's decent on occasion.
/my opinion now as wellThis Message Edited On 06.16.06

The Clincher is cool. I have a soft spot for this type of music.

it is a pretty catchy CD. i've had it for 2-3 years and it still gets a lot of spins in the ol' player.

This used to for me, but their other two albums are a lot better. When comparing the three, this is just mediocre.

Ive been listening to this album a lot lately. Family System, Closure, The Red and An Evening With El Diablo are excellent songs.

Great work out music too.

Chevelle is way better than most popular rock these days. Of course, I'm a sucker for bands who use mounting tension and then explode in their songs.

What a great album. I like TTOT(CDUI) better though. Closure is such a sweet song.

It's a strong record, I think "Comfortable Liar" and "Family System" are amazing. But "Send the Pain Below" is my favorite song on the album.

What I'd say though, is that I think it would be great if the singer didn't play an instrument and just jumped around the stage, almost as if it was hip-hop.

We need more RATM innovation in today's rock/metal. Add hip-hop, R&B and rap elements into it. Remember when Jay-Z collaborated with Linkin Park? They were twice as good because of it.
