Was initially disappointed by this, but it's growing on me. I love Day One at the end, it's like a comedown.

She definitely made an improvement, I like it more than The Listening just because it has more grit to it. The next thing she has to do is get louder, it sounds like she's whispering and it doesn't go with the new gritter sound she's created.

i may just jizz in my pants

At least she's hot.
EDIT: Wow, did not notice the comment above.

I like the one when she was in Epic Meal Time
|

I've decided she has too many tattoos and likes pop music.
So that rules her out of the privilege of getting a chance with me. Tough titties.

Agreed spec, she looked cracked out but thats ok. Wouldnt stop me.

Yeah she's pretty good-looking, but I still don't really like this all that much. I guess she gets points for it not being totally derivative, but there's still not enough substance there to support her voice fully. I like my uppity electronica to be going apeshit.

Oh? I've heard only 1 pop album this year that was actually great and that was Katy B's On A Mission...

She has talent and doesn't pander to 12 year old girls though
|
| |
@Tyraelyx: Katy B is one of them. then the new Nicola Roberts, Kimbra, Wynter Gordon, Oh Land, Ladytron, and Lenka are all better than this imo.

Oh yeah I totally forgot about Kimbra... I wanted to check it out but I heard her singing in that boring Gotye song and it kinda put me off. I'll check it out eventually I guess.
|

her album is definitely worth checking out. Settle Down is a great opening track. she does vocals more like the ones she did for Miami Horror and a couple jazzy songs

Oh yeah man that definitely got me excited, I'm getting it right now :]
Oh and I must confess I'm kind of a Lights fanboy so excuse me for calling this the pop album of the year...

No idea why I like this but it's pretty awesome. Shad's verse on "Flux and Flow" is nice, he's a talented dude.
|

i wont hold anything against you haha. i just think her voice is very flat and doesnt do much for me
