"It would definitely work better on this album because both are absolute masterclasses in sucking hard." [2]

Its a very well done and written radiorock song...that's it...not my fault you don't have good pop sensibilities...I remember receiving some cool QOTSA vibes when it came out. Looking at the bigger picture its hard to put it coherently in Mastodon's catalog...but being this the one with the most radiorock vibe, would be in here.

"Not my fault you don't have pop sensibilities"

Dude I like my share of songs from Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Carly Rae Jepsen, hell even some Nickelback, etc etc. Has absolutely nothing to do with a blanket lack of pop sensibilities lol

Now I'm confused about where I stand in this battle given Symbolic's latest revelation.

I mean there's 'pop sensibilities' you can respect and then those you can't. He listed a whole lot of can't.

Oh and Lovely Little Lonely by The Maine (pop rock) is probably in my top 25 albums of all time.

In terms of Mastodon themselves even, OMRTS is in my top 4 for them, which obviously has tons of pop sensibilities

Show Yourself is just painfully boringggggggggggggggggggg imo and I hate the vocal performance

I guess I never realized how much I actually hate pop music.
