This album is so chuggy but I love it. I've been listening to The Columbian Faction and Edge of the Earth so much recently. The way The Columbian faction builds is fantastic and the ghost notes on the snare in Edge of the Earth starting at like 3:08 make me feel kinda like this http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/gallery/yes/lip_licker.gif

I think the production value on this album did the most to hurt it. Could have been a lot better. I imagine a lot of the songs would be far better live.

I really hope Volumes can take all the positives form this album and make a great sophomore effort but in all honesty that doesn't seem likely
