Yea like I said, he sounds just fine when put with Barr. But not only has he gotten worse (at least that's what it sounds like to me), now he takes the majority of the screaming duties

No they do not, the delivery is very rap-esque tho

They're aping Meshuggah 90% of the time, so they have rapped vocals in as much as Jens has rapped vocals.

I mean there is one or two songs on the newest album that has rapping in it, I wasn't even thinking about that

But every Barr album is straight screaming, with cleans sprinkled very rarely

Gus is just Jonny Craig but without any talent.

I mean I'd just listen to everything up to Barr's departure

Their most recent album has a couple of rapping parts but that is Volumes 2.0... It has literally nothing to do with this album or No Sleep. The new album is all Gus and Terry, blame those guys.

You ever have that dream where you're on a plane going down and you burst into the cockpit and there's no one in the pilot's seat?

@Darius not at all, their former rhythm guitarist/main songwriter was phenomenal. He did all of the solos on this album, wrote the melodic stuff, and did cleans on this album.

If you're referring to Gus, he sounds so good in tandem with Mike that it doesn't even matter.

He sounds tolerable here. Horrific on No asleep and the new one though.

He somehow sounds amazing on this, mostly because he's Barr's puppet every step of the way and is used to provided contrast and depth. He sounds fine on No Sleep as well, not sure what you have against him on that one. It's only when he has to write his own shit that he falls flat on his face.
