well sure some songs like 'Photograph' and 'Savin Me' are quite generic but at least there are some catchy solos and riffs here and there and Chad does writes some decent lyrics when compared with other bands such as..um.. Puddle of Mudd anyone?

Nickelback is a band with so much potential but most of it is wasted on bland unoriginal subjects. Peake's guitar skills are thoroughly wasted, as I've only heard him shred out twice throughout all of Nickelback's discography if I remember correctly.

Throughout all this, you just have to admit-nickelback can make some catchy hooks. It's just great fun to hate a band but to have their hooks played through your head via overplaying on radios. You know what else is fun? When we can understand what the ---- you're saying, that's what I think of when I think fun and you get penalized because english has rules for a --- reason.

English is english, internet or no. Would your parents want you typing like this, you think a college would accept you if you were so lazy to type your application like you type things here?

Do you know why that is? Because it's not acceptable to be a lazy -----, and it's I you ----, capitalize it. Jesus people it is not that hard. You get "hammered" at school for bad grammar because they don't want you to turn out to be an illiterate ----that couldn't spell "be"... but it seems like with or without school, you're going to turn out that way no matter what.

As much as you guys say this album sucks, it's pretty awesome that they got every one of their songs from this on the radio.

I just don't understand this band. The chords aren't inventive, the lyrics are reminiscent of a groaning dog, and the lyrics are bland, easily deciphered, and the drumming is as commercial as Pepsi-Coke wars.

Don't call me a hater without logic, what I just stated is blatant fact. If people were to broaden their horizons they may come to find that there are bands on the same 'mission' as Nickelback which far surpass them talent wise and in every other aspect.

People are entitled to enjoy the music. The only reason people are hating is not because the band is incapable of speaking to the listener, but because there are many bands that promote the same ideals with much more ingenuity, skill, and...Well, everything.

Very well put. I listened to the radio for the first time in a few weeks, and it was Nickelback (surprise!), and I actually asked, "They're still playing this single?" To which my fellow passenger replied, "Uh, no, this is new."

And I have listened to hundreds of thousands of people crap on this band,so i definately have looked closely at nickelback and ask myself,are all these people right,was i naive to like this band ?



The answer was no.I mean a guy acused me of escaping from a nut house,a few messages up.Thats what me and other nickelback fans go through everyday.Its bullying.



I know some people here, don't like the band and they state why and thats fine but others are real jerks.





I like the bands straight forward,simple,comfortable rock.They don't trow many curve balls in there music but that dosent annoy me.



This album sings about things that mean something to me.Savin' Me is about losing hope in life and looking for someone to help you before you give up,Someone That Your With is about likeing some one but not being able to tell them.If eEveryone Cared is about hoping for a better world.Side of a Bullet is Chad singing about a close friend Dimebag Darell who was shot on stage.Far Away is love song and Fight for All the wrong reasons is just plane cool.

woo there have been a lot of comments since i been away. just let me say I had complete awareness that writing this positive review would end up causing a fair few debates since Nickelback are like marmite. But I'v found people have been giving my review some stick because they dislike the album, i don't think that's fair, please if you're going to rate the review then please rate it based on the quality of the review not your opinion on the album.

I still remember that glorious website that had many pairs of Nickelback songs playing at once, and pointed out their immense similarities. *hearts* Not a bad review either, kinda rough though.
