It's perfectly alright, I appreciate the comments and compliments, but I knew a lot of people wouldn't agree with the rating, since Nickelback aren't everyone's fave band like Led Zeppelin is, but thanks neway ^^

I listened to this album, and by the third track I was reaching for the laudanum. A good review, but it is a pity about the crap band you wasted it on. Nickleback are appauling, uninspired, unoriginal and repetative. This Message Edited On 12.30.05

very good for a TxT, but your punctuation is horrible. Periods and comma's are your friends. I like the album. It is however, a very weak and forgiving like. If Everyone Cared is a song i sleep to, so i give it that much.

Wow.....what the hell happened to my long opinionated comments on this album review. I thought they were pretty good comments.....and now, they are nowhere to be seen. That sucks. I have my opinions deleted that are PRO-Nickelback, and they are deleted.........but the ANTI-Nickelback shit isn't. What the fuck?

Hmmm...
The thing that annoys me about Nickelback is that they are repetitive, but what isn't these days? Everything has already been done and, as usual, the radio plays the shit out of the single, which I hate.
But the thing I love about Nickelback is their tightness. They have a great rhythum sound. The riffs are tight, blend very well...their new drummer is really good and adds a new dynamic.
But, I used to hate Nickelback, but my friend convinced me to give this album a listen to and, I must say, I was really impressed. I think its their best album to date. I think the songs are very well done, but again, I can see where people are coming from. I dont know how the reviewer couldn't like Follow You Home, I think its a bad ass song.
I give this album a 4.5 out of 5...really a gem. Very well done and every song has its moments that I throughly enjoy. I think people are way too closeminded when it comes to music these days, they aren't for everybody, but they dont deserve a 0/5 for this cd

Why? you dont like the album, so you are just gonna pan it because MX is all "Fuck Nickelback because they suck" I swear, people on here are some of the most close minded, ignorant music fans I have ever met.
If you are going to be actually intelligent with your review, I'm all ears, tell me why you hate them or like them, but do it with some intelligence and try to show both sides.

Lots of music today isn't repetitive. Or boring, or unoriginal, or uncreative, or completely void of passion and talent. You should seek those kinds of bands out instead of languishing with the terrible tunes of Nickelback.

Nickelback has some major flaws, but I wouldn't single them out to being this horrid shadow over the rock music industry, cause they do have their moments.

YD...I never said that, I think everything has already been done and copied...whose to say that their shit is better than the rest? People love Zeppelin, yet they ripped off old blues songs bad...does that make them bad or worse for it? No...they are a great band, that's just what they did.
Nickelback is a good band and you obviously have a personal bias against them, which is fine. I am just tired of people bashing bands because they are popular or mainstream. Everyone, regardless of genre, are just trying to make music that makes a difference to people. If you want to bash a band, that's fine...but just remember, they are just musicians like you and I. Just try to see it with open eyes a little bit.

Nickelback is not a good band. They have none of the qualities of a "good" band except being well-liked, but that says nothing of their talent at all.

I know you're not talking about me in that first sentence, so I won't worry about it. The only "difference" Nickelback is trying to make to people is one that will cause them to buy their albums. They have no soul and their songs are just cheap marketing ploys designed to appeal to the largest audiences possible while saying nothing about the band itself. It's not bad to want people to like your music, but if that's their bottom line then it completely warps their way of thinking.

Nickelback are not musicians like you and I, for reasons I've just gone over in the above statement. They're in it for the money, to make sure that no radio station goes more than 45 minutes without playing their songs. They only "love" music in the same way that a casino owner loves a slot machine. Except nobody will ever hit the jackpot in this game.
