Your comments actually make you seem more gay than the artists on the track listing make this album seem.

Overdoing it with the metaphors again Chan? Jesus you sound like Shadows at your worst here. You do manage to get your point across well but the over-pretentious metaphors are your achilles heel.

Chan does it bother you that Downer used to be your apprentice and underling but now he is far better

Megadeth, like you know what Kurt thinks. I'm sure he wouldn't be that dickhead, thinking he is better than they are. But, gotta say, Nirvana changed my life, and they're not just another band. Really.

Surprisingly, Murder By Death's cover of “Lounge Act” is pretty disappointing.

With the 20th anniversary of Nevermind I've been in a huge Nirvana listening phase this last month, like nonstop almost. These last few days particularly I decided to watch all their old concert films (Live Tonight Sold Out, Live at Reading, Live at the Paramount Theater) so how wonderful that I should awake this morning to discover a review for a new covers album of Nirvana. Totally going to check this out, thanks for bringing this to my attention Sputnik. Where can I obtain this?

And Nevermind...bad? Just...no. Just no.

If Kurt was still alive he'll be in a metalcore band right now

No way. Cobain hated poseurs, and there is nary a scene with more of them right now in the world than the metalcore scene. If anything he'd be playing in a noise rock / pure unadulterated screamo band or something. Something raw, primal, angry, and un-pretentious. Who knows.
