Yeah it took a long time for me too. I had to smile a lot.

Smiling... I could never really find a reason for that

At one point I just stopped caring and all the negativity went away. Pretty weird if you ask me!

Someone (you'll know where this came from ;]) taught me to look at my negative feelings within their social context. So, if you stop caring what other people think about you then you won't feel negative about your actions. So I started re-evaluating the things that made me feel bad about myself and it was always because of some people reacting to some stuff I did. Once I understood that they had no control over me whatsoever and that their opinions are just plain and simple bandwagoning (poor sheep) I managed to get rid of all the stress and now I feel a lot better :]

Sounds like you two have had a rough time, though you seem to be doing great now though!

I listened to this one after Futureperfect and it cemented that this was my favorite band, and has remained so. Chosen is a striking opener, Joy a classic, Forsaken shattering when heard with vocals (if I recall correctly, Ronan does not often perform it because of how painful it is), and the instrumentals are good.

The standout track is absolutely, without a question, Solitary, although the mixing isn't as good as it could be. This is perhaps the strongest Ronan's lyrics have ever been, and leaves me wondering how on earth neo-Nazis thought that he would want anything to do with them in the scene in the late 90s.
