I love the Smashing Pumpkins. Cherub Rock might be the greatest song of all time. Sliverfuck is amazing as well!

Fantastic album. Mayonaise is probably one of the most beautiful songs ever written, definately my favorite. Cherub Rock, Hummer, Geek USA, and Silverfuck were also great.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorites...contemplating a 5.
The emotion conveyed through the album is so powerful, I can see this album helping me though life.
Only flaw i can really see so far as that the album ends relatively weakly. Spaceboy, Sweet Sweet, and Luna are the three weakest. songs on the album imo.

You're probably better off by not having. If you want proof, just take a sample and listen to that organ of Corgan's.
Needless to say this band is overrated. Decent drummer though.

When I first heard this band I couldn't stand Corgan's vocals and though the band was extremely overrated. Now i can listen to him without cringing and the music is so awesome it balances out. Plus for some reason Corgan's vocals are actually good when it come to soft songs.

The thing is when I was starting to think I could get used to the more aggressive vocals, suddenly his 'soft' and airy vocals were piercing through my eardrums like nothing I've heard before (and not in a good way), at least on this and the double album. But hey, I might get back and give it a spin to see if it is that awful sometime again.

Agreed. He has a different voice, but it has never in any way annoyed me. I think he pulls it off quite well.

This album always gets praise from people. I like SP a lot, but this album just never interested me.
Looks like I need to do some catching up with this disc.
