Unholy Confessions is an awesome song
Yeah his screaming is pretty horrible through this album, yet the guitar helps it along a bit.

Used to listen to this all the time, so I respect it to a point. But damn, the guitar tone here sounds so weak. Palm mutes sound nice, but the rest is just... ugh. Makes me hate the album :s

Really? I reckon the guitar tone works in songs like Unholy Confessions
However its pretty horrible with Eternal Rest...

I agree it works to an extent on that song, and it's probably one of my favorites from the album, but eh... it just sounds really thin. Maybe it's the sound they were going for? Who knows.

Definitely too thin. IWSYT part 2 could have been brutal if they had a crunchier sound

HOLY SHIT!
TRIPLE POST.
|

Played Unholy Confessions in Drop B instead of Drop D and cranked up the distortion - really gave the song some extra bite. Sounded a bit like BDM or something.

Wow.

If your amazed at the triple post I agree.
And everything in dropped D gets boring.
Only song I can think of the top of my head that isnt is so far away from nightmare...
Meh.
