I have never in my life heard a Pulp song on the radio, but even toay Bryan Adams comes on every 10 minutes. :h5: Canadian content regulations

I heard Pulp on the radio in Canada. But not in CT cause our radio sucks.

Is "This Is Hardcore" the next one to get?

Definitely. His n Hers and This is Hardcore are the only two other Pulp albums worth checking out, We Love Life has its moments but not many, and their early career is embarrasing. Check out my other reviews to get an idea of the sound/themes of the albums and decide which one is for you.

I just fell completely in love with this album and decided to buy This is Hardcore as well (are you going to do a full review of it?). I tend to like dark albums. Just got it with the mail today and I've listened to it a couple of times, but not enough to make up my mind. Help The Aged and Sylvia are definitely great songs though.
Pulp could easily become one of my favourite bands. Pity there are only three good albums to check out then...

I have to admit I did not like This is Hardcore as much the first few times I heard it, it took about 6 months to really grow on me. Now it is my one of my favourite albums, so just give it time.
We Love Life is a decent album and I would recommend it if you really like their better albums, but it isn't a must-buy by any means.
This is Hardcore is on my to-do list but it probably won't be done until sometime this summer, I am very slow.

Groovy album, though it sounds like a fruity soap opera/musical hybrid of the disco era.

I love the sound Pulp puts out. This band are different, they know it and don't give a toss, which is why I love them. This album is brilliant and really put Pulp on the map, but I think This Is Hardcore is a more absorbing effort. It's an album that makes you think more about what Jarvis is writing, and how the music has been made, it's on a pretty grand scale. A really intriguing album, because it was apparently (for anyone who's seen 'Live Forever') one of the worst periods in Jarvis' life, He was on coke and couldn't get his head around how big Pulp got after Different Class.
I heard someone say before that Jarvis Cocker should be knighted? He should definately be knighted, for the sole reason he showed up Whacko Jacko at the '95 Brits, someone at last, got the balls to show that plastic tosser up.
Long Live Jarvis!
