Review Summary: Suicide Silence's new found metalcore twist proved beneficial

Suicide Silence have been the face of deathcore for a long time ever since the release of "The Cleansing",most deathcore fans have heard of it.
Their second album ("No Time To Bleed") to be honest didn't spark any interest in me, since the only song I liked was "Disengage".
Now, their third album didn't revolutionize any of the bands sound but has improved it.

Guitars:
The guitars are better than ever and aren't always stuck in chug-a-lug mode you're used to hearing from Suicide Silence, actually in some of the songs (i.e The Only Thing That Sets Us Apart) you get a really groovy more melodic sound, also the riffs in the beggining of "You Only Live Once" and the chorus on " Witness The Addiction" (sang by Jonathan Davis of Korn) are nice.

Drums:
I really can't say much about the drums since i've always liked them, but I do feel like they could be less repetive.
The drummer should have shown some creativity, instead he remains on the deathcore zone, with blast beats and what not.

Vocals:
Even tough i've always loved them I have to say they're amazingly better.
The addition of whispering troughout the songs really catch you're attention, and give the band somewhat of a metalcore sound.
The biggest shame on the entire record is that Mitch rarely does any growls, which is disappointing since Mitch has insane growls. ("Smashed might please you're looking for song with lots of growling, but the growls are done by guest vocalist Frank Mullen of Suffocation)

Lyrics:
Lyrically, I really can't say they've went downhill.
I'll explain, the first album "The Cleansing" revolved to much on anti-religion lyrics and got boring after a while, and the second album well it had really ***ty lyrics.
On this record the lyrics have way more variety like in "The Only Thing That Sets Us Apart" that talks about how humanity's racism is based on concepts of the past or in "You Only Live Once" that tells you too live you're life to the fullest.

The album in general:
It's a really good deathcore album, far from a classic but not a complete letdown, also, it's not an album you're going to immediately like.
The band itself showed progression, especially the vocals and guitars, the only letdowns are the drums and the lack of growls.

Notable Tracks:

Smashed
The Only Thing That Sets Us Apart
You Only Live Once
Slaves To Substance
Witness The Addiction

On this record the lyrics have different kinds of meanings like in "The Only Thing That Sets Us Apart" that talks about how humanity racism is based on concepts of the past or in "You Only Live Once" that tells you too live you're life to the fullest.

I really should point out, that english isn't my first language.

I think the review isn't even that bad, could be much worse

Go look up the difference between 'they're' and 'their'. Fix that in the review. Tough is not the word you're looking for, it's 'though.' Your grammar is even worse in some spots, and it's pretty obvious where. And finally, describing the guitars as 'nice' or 'groovy' doesn't say anything. It could be a Grateful Dead album for all I know.

I hope English isn't your first language.
