kind of hard to really nail a rating for an album with two good songs, two okay tunes and the rest being throwaway covers

I wonder why no one ever seems to priase "I Keep Forgetting" it's one of the best Bowie covers I've heard so far.

If I felt that way about the album, I'd probably 2.5 it. I hope this helps.

i mean, it could be far worse but I just revisit Loving the Alien and Blue Jean and call it a day. his cover of Don't Look Down is chill, but it lacks substance

If it weren't for "Loving the Alien" (which I have a soft spot for) and "Blue Jean", this might actually be up there in contention for worst album of all time. Not just in terms of the horrendous production and the lazy vocals, but that seemingly every decision Bowie made while making this album was quite possibly the worst one he could make. Plus the cover of "God Only Knows" is criminally bad. I love Bowie, but man it hurts my head to think about how badly he bungled this album up.

It's just a harmless 80s pop album honestly

The songs aren't bad (except for maybe the title track) but I think this could have benefited from a much better production

Okay the title track is garbage I can get behind that

I still think the album is more interesting than Let's Dance is on the whole though f
