I have a lot of time for TCOL, but that's cos I'm retarded. It is viewed by the majority as a turd.

it's like he misplaced his pick and used a buzzsaw instead. and again, great lyrics.

in the title track, there's like a heart-rate monitor type sound during the choruses. I'm assuming guitar harmonics. it's a weird album all round actually - Japanese vox, yelling, the guitar sounds, over the top theatrical vocals...

Yeah haha the buzz-saw guitar it rules

There was just a sweet-ass doco on Bowie on TV that covered Young Americans to Let's Dance with interviews and shit

God Fripp is a fucking weirdo hahah

sounds awesome. i caught the Ziggy Stardust movie late one night on Nine. quality is a big dodgy but it rules hard.

and just going off interviews I've seen on YouTube it's amazing how much Bowie cleaned up between '75 and '77.

Haven't seen that movie but I'm interested, always try to work out the concept for that album but I never quite get it

Yeah he said during the StS years he was actually legitimately scared of overdosing because of all the coke/heroin/whatever, scary shit

Also the guitarist/producer for Let's Dance, Nile Rodgers I think his name was, is an insanely cool and funny dude in those interviews
