I think “Yokusou Ni DREAMBOX” Aruiwa Seijuku No
Rinen To Tsumetai Ame (what a mouthful) is my favorite track at the moment. Kyo is such an amazing vocalist.

This band has caught my attention ever since seeing the Obscure video months ago and I don't regret it at all. The band is immensely talented and have been consistent with each album since VULGAR. Even Marrow of a Bone was at least decent which is really good if the bands worst album to a listener is still pretty good.

I really really liked Marrow, honestly. I mean, I understand the complaints, and it is probably their weakest modern-era album, but I still think it's really really fantastic, although that may just be because I was at the height of my Dir en grey fandom when it came out.

Thanks for the review.

I read that this album is very experimental, and my first listen proved that - the album caught me off guard at lots of moments.

But it has really grown on me. The "weird" moments kept spinning in my head...even while I'm working my ass off in the office!!

Have been listening to the 256k leak so far... waiting for my special limited edition to arrive to experience the TRUTH.

Oh my... This is pretty awesome so far.

Don't these guys usually have pretty disturbing music videos? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

Not usually, but they've certainly got quite a few fucked up vids, yeah.

Ruten no Tou is just mindblowing. Chorus gets pretty holy shit with guitars and Kyo. Probably ties with Diabolos for my favorite on the album.

Agree with earlier poster on Akatsuki. That song is pretty trippy. Guitars are pretty cool, and the build-up around 1:23ish is awesome.

Diabolos is pretty much Vinushka on crack. There's a guitar riff really reminiscent of Vinushka's blast beat section on there, and it just reeks of that same build-up style. Epic to me.

Personally quite partial to Shitataru Mourou and Vanitas.

Their first album I've really liked. Still trying to get in to Uroboros after several listens.

Really loving the vocals, do all/most songs have cleans?

Yeah, all of them do, to some extent. I expected there to be almost none from the pre-release singles, but there's a lot of cleans on the album
