How old are you Jethro?
hmmmmm I'm probably the elder on here. I think no one knows my exact age and it's kinda fun to keep it unrevealed.
@Tom I still have to read it man. I'm flattered to know you waiting for my approval

It's nice to see young people digging my old idols.
Well from that statement, I'd guess mid 40's =)

His hits are a little more subtle. I don't think he comes to mind quite as often but when you get a good song of his put in your ear hes hard to ignore.
Yeah, I think a lot of people know his stuff, but don't know it's Bowie who's the performer. I notice that trend with The Beatles also

So many artists have covered The Beatles, so a lot of people don't know its actually them who made the song. Lost in translation

Believe it or not, I've talked to a lot of people who really think Motley Crue made Helter Skelter -_-

I don't think I would want to hear a Bowie cover unless it was done by an equally talented and theatrical musician. Like Peter Gabriel, I can't think of anyone more contemporary off the top of my head.

Ughhh, never heard that one. That pains me.
Yea omni, so awful. Sufjan Stevens is pretty theatrical but I mean he's no Bowie by any means. Idk how a Bowie cover from him would fly either.

^Yeah I did take a look at it. I've heard that band name somewhere, not sure if I know a iota of their material though.

Great review Tom, giving this a listen now. It's nice to hear some Bowie that is not slow and ballad-esque, really liking the energy here.
