This is definitely top tier, but yeah Bowie has so many great albums. This, Ziggy Stardust, Low, Station to Station, Blackstar, Outside, Scary Monsters, The Lodger...

Thanks to my 90's self, i'm associating 'Andy Warhole' more with the grungy side of things instead of blues so i'll just have to pretend Eddie Vedder singing along to this and now i kind of hate myself.

Blackstar was weird. I guess it was meaningful but I honestly don’t find it very enjoyable.

i was in a beachside resort in Mexico at a friend's wedding the night Bowie died. i downloaded Blackstar onto my phone a couple days prior and had been listening to it nonstop. my wife (then fiance) and i saw the news in our little veranda room on the TV in spanish. all i saw was Bowie's picture with "muerto" and i knew what happened. it was after midnight and i was wasted off my ass. i cried and ordered a room service cheeseburger. ate half of it while kneeling on the side of the bed and passed out face-first.

yeah Blackstar rules but it's super heavy emotionally, not an easy or "fun" listen by any means

My lack of Bowie knowledge is pretty egregious. Only songs I can name are Space Oddity and Changes. Should I start with this album?

This isn't a bad place to start by any means, but I'd also recommend at least checking 'Space Oddity' and (especially) 'The Man Who Sold The World' - they have some pretty great jams.
