Slowly absorbing this. This isn't what I expected, but it's definetly good.

WHAT I love She Shook Me Cold, he actually tackled early 70s hard rock pretty well

Weakest is Running Gun Blues tbh

Running Gun Blues is defs middling, but She Shook Me Cold manages maybe one minute until it turns into a parody act

Someone change the album art back to Bowie in that dress. It's way more beautiful and fascinating than that weird painting

I submitted the other cover, it does represent the album better and it was used in the reissues as well.

In a way I wish he released another album with this sound before moving on.

Thanks a lot!

This didn't grab me as much as Hunky Dory or Ziggy at first listen so I'm not sure whether or not I should agree on that

Ziggy is a classic, Hunky Dory didn't grab me because I am not a big fan of its more acoustic art pop style. There are great songs on it, but I'd choose The Man Who Sold the World over it at any time. Many Bowie albums have to sink in, especially if you try to get into more at the same time IMO.

I prefer Hunky to Ziggy, in fact, for Bowie's 70-74 glam period, I'd argue Hunky is my fave

Yeah agreed Ars. I love Hunky Dory, it's top 3 bowie for me. Ziggy i never got into as much

The American release has the drawing from what I know, but on many reissues the picture of him is featured as cover.

You varmits just don't appreciate fine art.

Druggy cowboy is the true cover.
