thats what i was thinking when i read your review. took awhile to get. seeing how as i like speed to my music this really doesnt sound to appealing to me. at least thats what i think your trying to say from your review :confused:

Im not saying earth are anything mind blowing but they do drone much better then Sunn O))), and also non of this sounds even a bit good unless you have a sound sytem with good bass. If you wanna here a good drone album check out "Absolutego" by Boris or "Eart2" by Earth

I took a couple more shots at this band, they really weren't that bad. This CD just sucked compared to their other albums, Black Oe and White2.

These guys aren't bad. I'm more into sludge and stoner metal.

Doom metal all together is one of the better genres of metal. Sludge, Stoner, and Drone are all apart of Doom.

I kind of liked their cover of For Whom the Bell Tolls. I think maybe another Flight of the Behemoth track wasn't too bad, but this album is pure rubbish. Like Saint Anger level rubbish.

Even though I think Sunn 0))) are good at whatever it is they do, I still love the review. So snide... From what I've heard, this album most definately is awful. If you're still up to listen to them again, Scruples, listen to the songs "Ra at Dusk", or "A Shaving of the Horn That Speared You" for proof of what they do is a good thing.

I've seen Sunn0))) live a couple times and when they play they do long improv like on this 'album'. I love it but hey. Also The Sunn0))) 'Bass player' is Joe Preston (he played on their 'White 2' album)- he does not play for Thrones, he IS Thrones! Thought that i'd point that out.

Joe preston is a musical machine, He was a melvin, he is thrones, hes in high on fire right now, and of course Sunn O))) for a while, there best work was with Joe.

why would you listen to this band? you might as well listen when you're dead, im pretty sure that's what this is meant for, so you can put it off till then
