The first album I ever bought, and so grateful how this band opened my ears to how the chaotic nature of sound

can be mended into such great music. Even aggressive music can be so influential, and I hope to find & listen

to similar music like Tool in the future.

Opiate is the hardest material Tool has ever put out. Its not like Slipknot or anything, but it could still be considered metal by some

lol

I'd say Aenima is the heaviest Tool release.

Only listened to this ep today, and I must say, I'm enjoying it more than most of Undertow. Can't give it a higher rating though, Undertow is the first Tool album I bought/listened too, will always be a classic to me

What I can understand about this ep is that it's alternative metal in its purest form. This and undertow.

Although I usually skipped this ep and go directly to undertow.

The Gaping Lotus Experience is more profound lyrically than anything on Lateralus imo.

I was actually watching a video of a girl who says that she reached the nirvana, so it can't be THAT difficult

Nope, but I always thought that the only way you can reach it is that you are into buddhism and take those tibetan monks lessons.
