Any fans of this would love Arcane Roots, give Blood & Chemistry a bash if you haven't! Melancholia Hymns is their best album though, but shares the least in common with Fair To Midland.

I can see the similarities, especially in the voices of the two singers, but Arcane Roots miss the whimsical piano and the "fun" feel, idk it's hard to explain.

Both excellent bands though ( AR best work is Heaven and Earth EP btw :> )

Ill check it out! The fact that they are a trio is intriguing to me.

Nah I completely get that, although they do have some seriously fun tunes. Sacred Shapes, Over & Over and Off The Floor are pretty uplifting ones.

Heaven and Earth is great! All great songs on that one.

"Amarillo Sleeps on my Pillow" is just pure genius, fucking banjo swamp metal, what an incredible and irreplaceable band ;_ (
