fuck, i want these guys to come back so bad. i really was expecting them to start a musical revolution.

and ciperion, why dont you like Logan? I saw them live in 2011 when they had him on drums and he played everything exactly as it sounds on the album with no mistakes. they probably didnt let him play it any other way.

every vid/recording of Logan i've heard he sounds kinda bad. especially on the Live @ The Machine Shop DVD. he just... doesn't have the groove that Brett did. He sounds really stilted. i guess it's hard to explain without going back and listening to it all again

it's just not Brett on drums. i mean, fuck if i wasn't glad that SOMEBODY stepped in after Brett, but... it's just not Brett on drums.

I'd take the offer up and play every fuckin show for free if they offered me hahaha. Already know all there songs and Brett is a massive influence on my playing.

Now just send me to 'merica and it's all goooood.

Sweet. I remember digging the hell out of their first record a few years ago, but got a little tired of it after a while. It was very instant, but did not have much replay value, IMO. Still a 4 though, when I finally get around to listen to it

Art: Only songs I revisit often off that album, is probably "Tall Tales Taste Like Sour Grapes" and "The Wife, the Kids and the White Picked Fence". But maybe I should just firstly revisit the debut, and then go on to trying this

Cip: Thrash? Sounds interesting

yea man, tall tales is prob my favorite off fables but dance of the manatee, kyla cries cologne and walls of jericho absolutely superb as well

as far as this album is concerned, the greener grass is easily the best song they have ever made and a song everyone should hear
