Come Together is one of the more boring tracks on the album, imo.

Anyone else want DJ Shadow to sample Because?

"Not one band was as popular among the pop-culture crowd as the Beatles, an English quartet from Liverpool, writing catchy songs about simplistic ideas, and scoring big with the world. In fact, so big, that no one has ever sold more albums than the four of them."

Excellent point... I think if any band to date had the kudos that they had on every corner they would be able to produce magnificence as well. Maybe never this good but something noteworthy.

I also just love the fact that Paul straight up throws out like 5 songs at the end like: there, take em all, this is nothing to me... somebody should challenge me more often.

What a move

this album is one of the only i've heard that's worth a perfect 5.

An awesome album, save for I Want You. I have no idea what they thought when making that track almost near 8 minutes. This Message Edited On 04.01.08

I've given the Beatles a chance and this album is enjoyable and solid. However, it isn't as unbelievable as people say.

Looking at this album and 'Sgt. Pepper' alone, it's easy to see The Beatles as the first Progressive Rock band. The entire latter 2/3rds of 'Abbey Road' plays like one long track with several sub-sections. Great stuff. I haven't heard the Beatles in a couple of years. I think the time has come to re-explore.

Man, I just can't over how unnecessarily long "I Want You" is. Today I listened to this for the first time in a while, and during that song I looked down at my iPod hoping it was close to being done. Nope - still had 4 minutes left.

If the rest of album wasn't so damn amazing I might lower my rating.

meh, it's not bad, good lyrics that r catchy as hell, but to say that is is better than wat bob dylan or the rolling stones were doing at this time is just wrong. It's good music but nothing groudbreaking
