Crappy tape rip has surfaced, along with one for Volahn, too. Really lo-fi rips but they serve their purposes.

Just got up and had a skip through my tapes (turned up while i was at work last night) and the tapes on first glance seem fine. I'll check out the rips either today or tomorrow, the person who ripped them may have just had a bad dub, protape edition is out soon anyways and volahn is getting a cd and protape release too. Not sure about the two splits though, they both sound good to me as well.

Just checked the rips of the new arizmenda and volahn, sound is possibly a touch worse than the tapes i have but they still sound perfectly fine to me.

Yeah, theyre dubbed tapes as far as i know the protape edition is out soon which i imagine will sound closer to the bandcamp versions

Just a hype rating dude haha, i usually dont rate till ive listened to something 20-30 times. The new one is good though, after 2 listens id say its better than without circumference nor centre but not sure if it can live up to the debut. Need time to have some more in depth listening though

I think I like new Volahn better. The rip that I have of it is a little more clear than the Arizmenda so maybe that's why.

kinda split between the two of them at the moment, volahns guitar tone and playing style make it easier to pick out the intricacies underneath the layer of fuzz but the arizmenda album just has the swirling atmospheric feel that they do so well. I'm not massively bothered about the rougher sound although i will be investing in the pro tape when it drops out of curiosity.
